Why

  • The repository's only licence file was the MIT text, so Gitea and GitHub showed the whole repository as MIT.
  • Most of what it publishes is data from Urdu Wikisource and Wikipedia, which is CC BY-SA, and such content cannot be relicensed as MIT.
  • The README already said this; the licence file did not.

The texts and intros come from Wikisource and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA), so the data cannot be MIT; LICENSE was the MIT
text, which hosts showed as the licence of the whole repository.
